ITINERARY


Day One-Saturday – Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Wynyard, Stanley – Lunch

 

Drive to North West via  Devonport after visiting a boutique chocolate factory.Lunch in Burnie,then drive to Table Cape to see great coastal view from the lighthouse (Tulip Farm-seasonal and full bloom from mid/late-Sept to mid/late-Oct).Next enjoy sea breeze and a walk at Boat Harbour Beach (one of the best beaches in Tassie), then arrive in Stanley, a historic town, view spectacular Circular Head-“The Nut”- from The Highfield Historic Farm . Walk up to the top of “the Nut” or take chairlift (optional) O/n Stanley

     

Day Two – Sunday – Stanley, Burnie, Launceston – Breakfast/Lunch

 

Head into the very North West to the Woolnorth Windfarm to see roaring windmills creating energy and have a deep breath where the cleanest air in the World was measured and recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology.Then straigth to "Dip Falls" in a rainforest to see rocky waterfalls and ” Big Tree” of 400 years old age. Then visit the Rocky Cape National Park to see unusual coastal rocks and Aboriginal Cave (from a distant as it is a sacred site). Tour concludes in Launceston with drop off at the Launceston airport if required.
